Davyd

Davyd is 26 and originally from Ukraine. He moved to Slovakia with his mom several years before the war. He was introduced to me by Lev, who played on the same soccer team as him. He currently works in construction.

Our first photoshoot was quite spontaneous — we met and decided to shoot the same day. He was honest about not having slept much and not feeling at his best, but we went ahead anyway. Since he didn’t bring any spare clothes, he borrowed my hoodie and sweatpants.

Davyd is kind, sincere, and very pleasant company. He travels frequently across the country for different job sites, but we always enjoy hanging out when he’s in town.
