Markus
Markus, 22, comes from Martin in central Slovakia, a guy with energy to spare and a taste for anything that gets his adrenaline flowing. He loves being the handyman around the family house, carving fresh tracks on his snowboard or mountain bike descents, hitting the gym, taking long walks in nature, and tinkering with cars and motorbikes. He’s the type who doesn’t like to overthink things—he just dives in, always down to try something new, while staying friendly and considerate along the way.
He works at a water plant, a job he genuinely likes for its stability and decent pay, and he’s keen to grow within it. Travel has already taken him to Türkiye, Egypt, Greece, and France, and right after high school he spent time working in Holland. One day he dreams of owning his own auto shop, though he also fantasizes about a quiet log cabin in Finland for occasional retreats—he’s quick to add he’s a proud Slovak through and through.
Lukas K first referred Markus to me a couple of years ago. We did a video call back then, and he sounded enthusiastic about a photoshoot, but in the end he backed away—probably just shy or unsure. Then, out of nowhere more recently, he messaged me again, saying he was ready and even had a friend who might be interested too. I drove up to Martin to meet them both, and we got along great from the start. It was also nice to catch up with Lukas K after such a long time. Later, when we did the photoshoot in Bratislava, everything went smoothly—it was fun, relaxed, and surprisingly comfortable for him.
