Jaime
Jaime, 23, lives on a ranch in a rural area north of Bratislava and has his fingers in many pies across various businesses and startups. When we first met, he said everything was up in the air and that he might move permanently to Thailand. He managed a shisha lounge for a few years with his cousin and later somehow wound up in Colombia with the BelAmi crew. He’s a very brave and open-minded adventurer, which he seems to have inherited from his parents and relatives, who, from the stories Jaime shared with me, appear to be quite liberated, globetrotting entrepreneurs.
Jaime is a big, strong, confident man with a deep voice and comes across as very calm and level-headed. He’s friendly, charming, and very pleasant to talk to. Despite this, he says he’s quite introverted and enjoys doing his own thing. He loves motocross, cars, dogs, hiking, and camping (and nature in general).
