Ricky

Ricky, 18, studies at a culinary high school and lives in a small town in Western Slovakia. He’s been training in boxing and almost every kind of martial arts since a very young age, and his dream is to be “the best cook ever” and to be an MMA instructor. Ricky humbly admits that he’s not a big muscle guy, and that speed and agility are his main advantage.

When we first met near Bratislava, Ricky came across as shy and slightly introverted. But it didn’t take too long for him to lower his guard and he became very conversational and friendly. He said that he’s lived his whole life in a rough neighbourhood and that he often has to watch over his little sister. Ricky is a fighter with a big heart and I feel very fortunate to have crossed paths with this beautiful young man.
