Miko

Miko, 18, is from a small town in Western Slovakia, he’s in his last year of high school and he’s a competitive ball hockey player ⁠— busy with school on weekdays and with tournaments on weekends. He’s a very down-to-earth, friendly and positive guy who often smiles and doesn’t ever complain. When he’s out of his sportswear, Miko enjoys wearing a jacket and dress pants. In most situations, he’s gentle-mannered, but he’s quite the fighter when playing hockey, and his body is hard as a rock.

We met up in person in a town halfway between our homes about a week before his 18th Birthday. We went for a walk, later sat down at a café, and Miko was the sweetest guy ever. He had a million questions and he wanted to know everything about my life in Canada. The photoshoot went very smoothly and comfortably, and Miko said he’s really looking forward to meeting up for a beer in Old Town Bratislava during the holidays.
