Jonny

Jonny, 18, is a calisthenics athlete from a small town in central Slovakia. He has a positive mindset and is very levelheaded for such a young man. He loves sports, music, the outdoors and hanging out with friends.

The original plan was to photograph Jonny and his friend who Jonny brought along with him, but I was surprised when his friend asked me what kind of photographs we’d be shooting. I assumed Jonny would have told him the details. When I explained, Jonny’s friend quickly declined and said “No, that’s not for me. I’m just a guy from a village.” Jonny and I both hoped he’d eventually get more comfortable, change his mind and join the photoshoot, but unfortunately he didn’t. It was disappointing.

Nevertheless, we had a fun time, it was a nice day out, although a bit chilly.
