Michal, 21, is a university student in western Slovakia, where he is pursuing a career in multimedia production. He currently works as a part-time DJ and video editor.

Michal was referred by one of his former high school classmates, Kevin M. Unfortunately we didn’t have a chance to meet in person prior to the photoshoot, and things felt a bit “speed dating” awkward for us at first. He was definitely one of the more shy and uncertain guys I’ve photographed, although he got surprisingly comfortable towards the end of the shoot. He is also a bit more of a “deep thinker” and introverted than most guys I’ve photographed, but it’s nice to see that he gave something “daring and unusual” a try.
