DANKO

19-year-old Danko is probably the craziest and most nonconformist friend I have. We’ve been friends for three years and I have already photographed Danko in the nude once before just for fun. His girlfriend is also very openminded and she wasn’t bothered the slightest bit by her boyfriend doing a nude photoshoot.

The outdoor photo shoot was the first of the Spring 2019 collection. Unfortunately, it turned out to be freezing cold (just 7°C or 45°F) and the poor guy almost froze to death. Danko said it was the coldest he’s ever been and it kind of shows on the photos. We shot the series at a castle ruin called “Plavecký hrad”. Slovakia has dozens of sites like these and I’ll definitely go back to the castle to take more pictures when it gets warmer.
